Stan Holtzman passed away November 5, 2005 after suffering a massive heart attack. Thousands of truckers all over the world will remember Stan for the 4 books that we wrote about truckers & trucking, with all of his truck photographs.

Thousands more will remember Stan on a much more personal level, that is as Stan’s ”best friend” Stan lived for truckers & trucking and that was his world.

Stan started taking pictures of trucks in 1950 and he never stopped. He truly captured the “Golden Age” of trucking through the lens of his camera. Stan left a legacy of Photographs that might be described as both incredible & overwhelming.

Approximately every week from now on we will add more of Stan’s Photos to this website and hope you find pictures that will bring back memories of the “Good Old Days” of trucking.

Stan’s collection of truck photographs is fairly large so it might be a while before we’re able to put them all on the web.
